  • Allods Online

Alright, so I'm kinda addicted to testing out and playing free MMO's no matter how bad they are, but I recently found one called Allods which so far is a lot of fun. It's kinda like WoW in that it's 2 different factions (the League and the Empire) but it's free and in my opinion much cooler. The one down side is that for some idiotic reason there isn't any auto attack button (at least none that I've found) so you gotta click attack every time like it's a skill.

Anyway, if anyone wants to test it out come join me, I'm on the empire side (for some reason the empire's human armors are based off of nazi suff, but i play an orc so it doesnt effect me ).

ps: Also it's not one of the thousands of free korean games, it's actually Russian made.

I uninstalled it because it's much worse gameplay than wow, although I like the Risen At least the art was clean.

I became curious when I heard it had some steampunk elements (and that it is free of course). I was shocked to see just HOW similar it looks to WoW, but I was not about to hold that against it.

It looks interesting, but the big question is: IS THERE RP? Without a reliable amount of chracters to rp with, it's just not worth it. That's why I have not gone from Sundren to DD: Online despite liking Eberron WAY more than FR. (no offense to FR fans.)

No. No there is not. Allods was actually the last game I was playing before deciding to come back and play some more NWN (got to fairly high level). Even the RP guilds can't/won't RP. In their defense, the whole worlds makes so little sense that it's very difficult to manage anything coherent.

I found quite a few RPers in DDO, but most of them were P2P and quite high level.

That said, you did well picking Empire in Allods. The community on that side is much better than the League's. Just be good and prepared for the Holy Lands. You're outnumbered. By alot.
