Anyone else play this? Been thinking about getting a ranked server once EA halts the hold on new servers. This game has the highest amount of players online of any battlefield game so far ever.

Been thinking about it, I miss playing the occasional FPS. - Once my shiny new place is built I may have to invest.
Course, with any luck I'll have a fancy pants new GTX 470 to be able to play it on by then!

Great, now I've got an itch to dig out my old copy of Battlefield 2 and have a bit of a play later!It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can.

I got it, absolutely fantastic! I played BF2 and BF2142 but I have to say this is the best one so far!

I ordered a Bad Company 2 ranked server. They are on hold right now until they fix the master server list but when its up I will post the info here.

I believe BF2 was the best, so far, especially considering the abilities of the Commander. I also don't like how many bullets people can soak in BF:BC2 in comparison to BF2.
But overall? Fantastic game. I'm loving it. And frankly, I'm glad they got rid of planes. But plenty of helicopters for fun galore. I highly recommend it. Having a blast with it.Comment

Bad company 2 is insane...been playing nonstop since i got it from preorder.

Well, he's using the slug, in the movie you provided. A slug isn't buckshot, it's just one large round. So, yeah, you can shoot people from a distance with that. Just like you can shoot people from a distance with a pistol.
But, the accuracy of any gun has never been accurately portrayed in the Battlefield games.Comment
