I don't really base my characters off people too much. I dunno. I use names but not really personalities. Like Artea I took from Lufia for name, but the character has nothing to do with Artea from Lufia.

Aerick is basically myself in a more naive and awkward sense. With the glasses on he even looks like me. Its kind of scary.
"For here, apart, dwells one whose hands have wrought/ Strange eidola that chill the world with fear:
Whose graven runes in tomes of dread have taught/ What things beyond the star gulfs lurk and leer.
Dark Lord of Averoigne- whose windows stare/ On pits of dream no other gaze could bare!"

Cazen was meant to be a mixture Lupin III (for the ingenious, but rash plans), various fictional accounts of John "Doc" Holliday (for being a scoundrel gentleman that lets his mouth get him into trouble), and Robin Hood (for the lovable thief motif). Sometimes, I nailed that persona...other times, not so much.

Deacon Saetric was a mixture of various forms of The Joker, with less emphasis on the clever insanity and more on the senseless brutality.

I don't think I had a pop-culture or literary reference point for Vaster. He's just an uneducated, mostly-beastial Malarite.

It's really no wonder why we get along so well

Plu was born of an idea someone had ( Chiantago I believe ) , make a tribe of feral halflings. I also like the idea of a person torn between two worlds, in this case two classes that had very different axis. The Blood Spirit ( Malar) and the Cold Spirit ( Auril). I spent a bit of time thinking how that would actually affect someone and Plu was my answer. I can safely say he is my favorite char on Sundren and while the Wolf Tribe may have faded out, it was a great idea that I will continue to evolve. It's also quite possible I simply like making my own language

I'd like to think anyone that reads the fantastic write-up ( IMHO the perfect write up for a Prestige Class, giving you all you need )on the Nature's Warrior class in the Wiki understands where I'm coming from with him, after all that was his orgin while Auril was his future.

I'd have to say that Adeodatus was based off Monk, according to Aerick. Because of his obsessive compulsive behavior.

And his excessive politeness probably resembles the guy from American Psycho pretty well.
Lauan - knight of Thay " I have no fear, and death is merely an inconvenience to me. I do not die until ordered to do so, I do not fall until every last bit of life has left me. I stand tall, proud, a Thayan knight."

I have never RP'd a hin / halfling / kender. So I'd have to say when I rolled Gravin I really tried to base him off of Tasslehoff Burfoot from the Dragonlance series. And Snoop, Lufia was a B.A. game. I miss that game.. *hurries to ebay*

Somebody once told me that Varsick was Dick Dastardly. That made me smile.

I really don't know if I had anybody in mind when making him. He is sort of a "villain's assistant" type. Like a wormtongue or a wormtail gone religious fanatic assassin.

After the game, the king and the pawn go into the same box.

Elandra: wanted someone who was kind, does not discriminate and a bit clueless about life in general. “More fool that hardy” was what I built her on. Her bios was made later and caused me to tweak her a bit to fit, but I am good with that.

Yodglum: thought it would be funny having a hin monk (dam you Umogian for stealing my thunder!). He was inspired but Yoda if you could not tell.
Elandra: A former Red Blade, now roams the wilderness with the Lone wolf as her guide
Alexandra: Ever faithful (just shy of a Zealot)
Yodglum: May Kossuth's flame light your way and burn those in it!
Ash: Dusty old miner of still looking for the "mother load" on Exigo's stag

Shaving kittens: not an official sport, but fun just the same

kyle rendell was inspired by the king of swords, harlakh doroaver. a mercenary who rules the realm of the ready sword wirh his sword, making it possible for cavarans to travel safely.
also by lingwu chong, a character from a chinese novel. a swordsman who lost all his kungfu skills and ki energy. in a world ruled by powerful martial artists and their ki powers, lingwu chong defeats them all with nothing but his swordsmanship.
also dugu qiubai, another character from the same chinese novel. said to have wandered the world searching for a challenge. defeated everyone, and all the heroes and villians under heaven bow down to him. realising that no one is a match for him, he died a loney death. his name literally means lonely begs for defeat.

Midian Dark is a real PnP (2nd edition) character I have been playing for about 12 years. His personality and mannerisms are based on Duncan Macleod of the Highlander TV Series.
                        I am Midian Dark

Aggribail Blakfyre - The Man known as Bail - was, once upon a time, loosely based off Garrison early in Joe Mad's Battle Chasers; a brooding swordsman, haunted by his past.
Aggribayl Blakfyre - The man known as Bayl, aka Little Red Riding Hood, aka The Shield, aka Mr. Leaving, aka Kyle Rendell
Cryok, Son of Frigiss - aka Fross-Choppa
The Kegfists - Dwarven brothers likely to die under eachothers' axes
Jarvis P. Bloggins III - Gnome with a Long Title
(And too many more to bother listing)

Yasiais based on the real me lol. I can be a snooty witch sometimes.

Marais not really based off anyone that I can think of....maybe also a little of me too. On my good days lol

And as for my dwarf and rogue...no clue they just sounded like it would be fun to play.
There is a fine line between genius and insanity.....I have replaced that line with a trout!!

Mara ...Red Knight Follower/ Member of the Red Blades

                            Yasia .....Red Wizard

                            Elizabeta .....Rogue

I had a halfling monk (female - my only female). despite the damage die downgrade they are very high AC and incredibly hard wearing. I based mine on eowyn from lord of the rings.

My next character is going to be a gnome bard; Tom bombadill was such an awesome guy

All my characters have been inspired by aspects of realworld people that I know, sorta I just take parts of their personalities and take them to an extreme.
