  • File Verification?

Alright, i thought i'd post this to see if anyone else had this kind of problem. I connect to the sundren server and it starts checking for out of date content, it finds something i need to download. Thats alright... but then it starts to download and i get

"Sundren2da.hak was successfully downloaded but can not be verified. Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@sundren.org" the thing is aswell.. the file isnt properly downloaded its only 178kb.. when the one i got off another sundren player was about 4 mb.

Ive tried deleting the file and re downloading it... but for a few hours or so ive kept on getting the same message. I even tried using someone elses 'sundren2da.ha' file that was recently updated... but to no avail.

Has anyone else have/had this problem?

This happened to myself about 2 hours ago, but then fixed itself when I tried again later about 1 hour ago. According to another player, Saulus fixed the file before I tried again.

If it helps, here's a link to my copy of Sundren2da.hak, which works for me fine (I am currently in-game):

Can't say I have... but as far as I understand the downloader gets the files with a different extension than hak, then decompresses them. Perhaps the compressed one is faulty and is still present somewhere.

Deleting any file in your hak folder that starts with "sundren2da", would be what I'd try.

Last night when I updated there were a number of things some of the other devs did not bake, so I had a few surprises when I was expecting something short and sweet before going to bed.

Everything should be fine now though.

haha. Baking problems. Good times. The very first area that I ever made wasn't baked and when I tried it out I couldn't move the toon around. Thanks for fixing that for us!

As an aside, one should not forget to bake bread. It turns into a puddle of goo if you accidentally let it rise for too long . . . like overnight . . .
