  • To those that serve.

Here in the USA, we celebrate Veteran’s Day on November 11th. The holiday seems lost on many and is usually a time to get a great interest rate on a new car or perhaps some discount furniture. To those countries that set aside this day, the day the First World War ended, as a day of remembrance, thank your soldiers.

    Thank you for your service.

Alright, I’m done being sappy. Don’t give me too much shit.

And we'll continue to serve you proudly. But even I'm new to the military, so I have to give a moment to recognize the men and women who are over there in the sandbox fighting and dying for our country right now.

I agree wholeheartedly. Thank you, for doing us such a service. It will always be appreciated, and needed.

It's nice that this day is celebrated in so many countries, and I salute you all for this thread.

Thank you to those who lost their lives to preserve our freedom.

It's made all the more poignant in the UK this year - This is the first year where there have been no UK survivors of the Trenches.

Defiantly a big salute to all those past and present who've done their part for their country, whichever country it is.
It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can.

I agree wholeheartedly what you guys do is something others should wish they could.. You do for your country what needs to be done and dont ask for anything in return..

But, I'm sure they'd appreciate a beer! Seriously, if you ever see a service member at a bar, a restaurant or what not, buy 'em a beer.

They'll appreciate it. I never knew how to really respond to people thanking me for serving, but it was still always appreciated.
