    Modern Warfare 2 PC: No Dedicated

    This weekend a huge bomb dropped on the PC Gaming Community. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will not feature dedicated servers on the PC Platform, and the possibility of modding or tools support is up in the air, likely not being possible.

    A huge public backlash has occurred, with boycotts, preorder cancels and petitions being held.

    As a fan of CoD since the first game on PC back when it was using the Quake 3 engine, I am appauled at this consolised match-making service. I intend to speak with my wallet on this one and will not be buying this game.

    As of this posting there are already 70,000 + signatures which is nothing to scoff at.

    Bummer, I was always a Socom fan though for PS2 and PS3..I liked it becuase it was more strategic and realistic in my opinion.

    So I guess the console systems are getting all the love eh?

      Hmph. And it looked to be such an awesome game too. Oh well more time on Sundren is rarely a bad thing.

      And up to 89.7k sigs, should top 90k in an hour. They really messed up.

        Sucks for PCers. I signed it too, even though I play on XBox360... 105K now.

          I play on Xbox now for non-rpgs. Signed anyway cause Ive always been a PC gamer!

            I use consoles for Hack and slash and some RPGs. PC for shooters and strategy and other RPGs.
