  • Extensive Forgotten Realms knowledge required!

Besides the Forgotten Realms Wiki, I would be highly grateful for assistance in some apparently random information, though this information is rather specific thankfully!

Chondath and Sespech, found around in the interior Faerūn region, directly south of the Sea of Falling Stars and southeast of Cormyr. Apparently Sespech had split itself from Chondath ... sometime, gaining its independence.

What I would very much like to know is the how and when this happened! I'll give you cookies if you know? ^-^ or direct me to a website that would tell me? I can't really go out and buy a book... at least not for awhile, sadly! From what I understand, the book that details this escapade would not detail it any more than the Wiki did, though.

Any response is welcome here, even a "I don't think there are any details!" response! Thank you *Curtseys*

Well I know this much...Hlondeth(yuan-ti ruled city of the Vilhon Reach) are allied with Sespech, perhaps that caused the split.I also know that Thuragar Foesmasher overthrew the former Chondathan baron of Sespech that would surely have caused the split....I just finished the House of Serpents series and all of it takes place in these areas...At the present time in the book,it had been 9 years since Foesmasher wrested control of the Barony.Which means he took control in 1364 Year of the Wave.

    Hope that helps some.

O-o That sounds like you'd need a whole study room just to hold all those books...

Oh oh, better go to your big private study with more books! ^-^

Anyone got any specific details of Winterwood not said in, well, its description? Winterwood is just west of the Vilhon Reach [[AKA west of Sespech, etc.]]
