yeah, it's good. alot like x-com, except without shooting down the ufos, and one of the main objectives is gaining territory on mars and terraforming it. instead of money, you primary resource is manhours - you'll only have 12 or 16 guys into you get well into the game - so dont let them get killed. it's 3d too, a nice change from the usual.

there's a mod out there for it that's a must - called Total Rebalance - think its in v 2.03 right now. it adds alot more items and tech and balances the game out a bit, though it can still get really tough later on.

definitely worth the $10 on Steam.
Aggribayl Blakfyre - The man known as Bayl, aka Little Red Riding Hood, aka The Shield, aka Mr. Leaving, aka Kyle Rendell
Cryok, Son of Frigiss - aka Fross-Choppa
The Kegfists - Dwarven brothers likely to die under eachothers' axes
Jarvis P. Bloggins III - Gnome with a Long Title
(And too many more to bother listing)

Well, that's my weekend sorted (along with sobbing pathetically as my team get owned and slaughtered on another bastard boat rescue mission).

You're right. The Australian Empire is proven to be a much greater success.

Damn straight! We've got coal, uranium, lumber, zinc, and natural gas. Not to mention crocodiles and poisonous snakes. That and tourism.

Yeah, you kind of cornered the market in terms of dangerous and toxic wildlife.

But we have moustaches, tea, and the kind of weather that drives any sane man out to conquer any other country that looks like it might have nicer weather.

Amen brother, I spent the latter half of 2007 in Leicester, and all I could think of was escaping back to the goodness of my penal colony lifestyle.

The moustaches are what scare me most, frankly.

That, and the whole "left is right" thing. But I suppose you Down Under folk insist on that as well.

We don't have moustaches! And as for 'left is right', surely you want your left hand on the gearshift and your right hand on the wheel? Srsly. Putting the driver on the left side of the car is Euro/US lunacy!

Recently I have been playing the following…

                          At work I play:
                          • “Dodge the axe”

                          At home I play:

                          • MLP (My Little Pony)
                          • “Stop bugging your sister”
                          • “Dress-up”
                          • Sometimes I play “Time Out”
                          • “Where’s mom’s wine” is always fun
                          • And of course “not tonight, I have a headache”
Elandra: A former Red Blade, now roams the wilderness with the Lone wolf as her guide
Alexandra: Ever faithful (just shy of a Zealot)
Yodglum: May Kossuth's flame light your way and burn those in it!
Ash: Dusty old miner of still looking for the "mother load" on Exigo's stag

Shaving kittens: not an official sport, but fun just the same

Other than Sundren (only place I play nwn2), I play:

                            Dragon Age
Damnation or Hellgate: London (when I get bored and just wanna blow stuff up)
Um...that's about all I got (until they EVER get Mechwarrior 5 put out...I miss my mech games)

I do have an extensive collection of Rifts game books (almost all of them, I think), though no one in my area plays anymore. I also have some weird old RPG like Villains and Vigilantes, Arcanum, and Gamma World.
Ursus Ahrahl: Vengeful Desert Warrior (http://www.sundren.org/wiki/index.php?title=Ursus_Ahrahl)
                            Zaphram Babblerocks: Silly Gnome Tinkerer
Ronon Darkholme: Eye and ear of the Night Watch of Kelemvor's Eternal Order (http://www.sundren.org/wiki/index.ph...onon_Darkholme)
Jakomyn Moriarty: Misunderstood Calishite mage (http://www.sundren.org/wiki/index.php?title=Jakomyn_Moriarty)
Turin Greyhold: Ex-mercenary paladin of Torm (http://www.sundren.org/wiki/index.ph...reyhold,_Turin)
Alexandros Pentacost: 1/2 Orc Cleric of the Red Knight
"Remember, Private..Friendly Fire is not a nice warm place you and your hippy buddies sit around at night toasting marshmallows and singing Kumbaya." --Me to one of my troops way back when
