Has Anyone Ever Been to Albania?

So my GF and I will likely visit Tiranna in the fall. We have a free place to stay, but we don't know much about the place. We were enticed because it's close to Greece.

Anyone ever been here? What is there to do in the city and around it?

I've heard the food is great, I wouldn't mind visiting to sample the tastes (and write it off on my taxes as job research!). I'm not sure of what's around there, but I would say you'd be hurting yourself by not finding a nice restaurant first thing.
