Hello everyone! I'm yet another recruit from the oh so lovable Ghostman. Ghost, Medhia, and myself played on an NWN server for a looong time and I, like many, steered clear of NWN2 after trying it when it first came out and nearly hated it. I play-tested Sundren a long while back (right after MotB came out) and liked the server but was still weary of the game.

Since I've heard raving reviews about the changes brought forth in SoZ, I have yet again decided to give NWN2 another try. I'm not certain at this point which character idea will become my main but keep an eye out!

    Three words...no wait. Four words.

    Welcome To The Server.

Also whatever you decide to play, all that really matters is that you and everyone else you interact with have fun.

Thanks! Just finished updating SoZ and I'm prepping the Sundren Updater now (and forwarding NWN2's ports since I just reinstalled).

I tend to have a few characters roaming about based on moods. I always put a little bit of myself into each character's personality. hehe I just can't seem to get into the role of a fun, joyful persona when I'm in a cantankerous mood. Just ask Medhia. He's always that way. Just kidding! *hides*

Perry Turnipfodder - aspiring talent, happy chronicler.

          And then there were three...

Boy, we're really not selling the Sundren folks on Medhia, I think...
"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle." -- Frederick Douglass

Charactor idea eh? well check the wiki.

I would like to try a many faces charactor but I have 3 and that is just to many for me

Besides the typical classes there are some new ones listed in wiki along with new feats.

Clerics need to choose domains within their deities listing, and a few classes are not allowed until you aquire a feat or win RPOTM award. (like warlock).

Best advice is make something fun for you while within the server rules then everyone has a good time.
blame everything right in my life on god -Me.
Being insane in a sane world is alot more fun then being a sane man in an insane world. -Me
I am only what you percieve, and even that is an illusion. -Me.

Hardest part for me was the fact that I know almost nothing about FR. *shrug* Picked up the ol' Icewind Dale Trilogy again to re-learn some geography, at least, enough to make a character.

I spent most of yesterday reading up while getting my fiance's SoZ copy to update.

I'm going to attempt to be a "local" rather than hailing from some distant region of the world. My explanitive twist, to allow for my "newness" and lack of local knowledge OOCly, will be part of her background and revealed once I begin her journal.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and advice, it is greatly appreciated. Oh, and for the record - Medhia is a top notch RPer, writer, and really is a lovable guy. I've RPed with him since the beginning of NWN1 so sometimes I get rough but it's all in good fun.

*gives the brow, yes THAT brow*

I like to say that I have a special kind of charm, like a pungent musk, that leaves an indelible memory in my wake.

I still need to get SoZ.. soon, very soon.

The Brow should be capitalized. It deserves the emphasis.
