  • Heya

Well, I've just picked up Neverwinter Nights 2, and Mask of the Betrayer. I have yet to play them much, but I played the original and loved it. I won't be able to play for a month due to getting a new computer then, but I wanted to get an early start, maybe get some backrounds for some of my characters, and learn more about Sundren, which I first heard about months ago from a friend I forget the name of (online in warcraft 3).

I've always loved D&D, but never got to play many games. But this feels like something that will finally fill that niche in my life, not be my life, but give me enjoyment I've always lacked in any form of entertainment.

An open world where you can do nearly anything (sexual situations being completely out of the question makes sense, guess you can't have cybering in it.../sigh).

It has a lot of potential I think, for me.

And I just wanted to register early! Maybe learn who I can join together with when I first join the world (after I beat the game storylines of course).

I plan on making a ranger/duelist, a sorceror, or a monk. But I'm impulsive, so deciding may take some time. Oh well.

Sexual content is taboo, yes, but we have many relationships in Sundren. The rules state that relationships between PCs are fine but all interraction must remain in the PG-13 category.

Also, if you just bought NWN2 and MotB please be aware that within the next week you will also need Storm of Zehir to play on Sundren, the newly released expansion pack.

Other than this, welcome to Sundren! We hope you'll make yourself right at home

Yes, welcome. You've chosen the right place for what you had in mind if you ask me, but as with most online communities, while you will be welcomed you'll have to put in some effort to get involved as well. Something you seem to be taking seriously enough (but not too seriously ), which is good!

I hope you'll enjoy your time here, and the company there is to be found. Just like it has grown on all of us

      PS.
Don't go making promises about the next server patch just yet, Uri. It's still unsure how long that's going to take

Welcome to the GRINDER fresh meat....err I mean hello.

this place is great good folk, helpful staff and dms.

As for no cybering that was one of the MAJOR perks to joining here being able to avoid that crap. Besides I like it when my charactors are utter failures in love.

Meh, cybering is mostly crap. But I have fond memories of it, as well as pain from it. It's different for everybody.

I can understand why its not in, and that's completely fine. PG-13 environment, enough said, I get it.

Well, I'm glad to be on the forum at least. Probably won't post TOO often until I can install the thing on my new computer (yes, the expansion pack as well when I finally come on, but until then I'm going to play the original campaign at least).
