Hello my luvverlies,

I'm new to sundren.

I have a nice long history playing NWN1 but haven't found a NWN2 server I enjoy yet. They have all involved walking around solo for weeks never reaching higher than 1st level.

I'm a lover of immersion and good RP but that said, I love a bit of content and something to aim for.

I'm hoping this is the place for me cos it really looks like it from what i've seen of the forums so far.

If only this downloader would finish downloading your uber amounts of custom content I could get on and play.

P.S. What kind of player groups do you guys have going on right now?
I'm looking for 1st character ideas.

I can't tell you what player groups there are by first hand experience, as I haven't personally been on the server yet either, but you can check out Sundren's statistics to get a better idea of what's popular on the server.

we got evil nuetral and good. evil tends to be thayans but we have a banite or two. everything is well...everything else. do what you want bud and you start at lvl 3. I recommend avoiding using wsad keys, even though the first town is a bitch to walk through when you are new. Lags the server to hell for everyone. Im an old nwn1 player too and I'll say it now, this is the best rp server I have found on either game. A warning though, dont expect to reach the uppers levels within the next month or two. Its a pain but it REALLY promotes GREAT rp to keep levels down. You'll start at lvl 3 and a max lvl cap of 5th for the first week or so. After the first week, you can hit 6th and then you gotta wait another week for 7th i think and so on. anyways, im off to play my brand new malarite, im stoked to see him turning out so well 8D welcome to join me.

Just spent a few hours checking this server out and I have to definitly agree it's in a different leage compared to all the other stuff available out there for NWN2 at the moment.

The finish on the areas is awsome, the content is wonderful and there is a decent sized and permenantly present player base.

I've yet to actually interact with any other PC's. All I have done so far is thoroughly explore the port and the trade post to it's north and do all the solo static stuff you get in them.

That said it's had a massive impact on me so far. I just couldn't log off. I'm gonna be at work with only 3 hours sleep tomorrow cos of this place.

Well I finally got to RP with some other people today. Enjoyed the fact that no-one just treated bumping into a half-orc with a boar as something normal, I got the hesitant approach from most which was good fun. I also got to tell my old 'The Shaman and the Fish' story. Yet to become famous here but one day all of Sundren will know the story of 'The Shaman and the Fish.' Just remember, that was my story.
