After a hiatus, I have returned to spend some time on the Sundren Persistent World.
I've given up on playing a remake of my older character, Maia, simply because I didn't feel it was appropriate. After some thinking things over, I actually found myself at a loss as to what to play anymore. I contemplated classes like the wizard, the cleric, the fighter and the druid... but in the end, I chose to come back to something more familiar to me: the ranger. Not original, but that's what I felt like at the time and at least it isn't a new take on Maia and rather a new character.
Largely inspired by this piece of artwork I created Lieren (pronounced LIE-REN), the Evermeet noblelady bored with court life and increasingly infatuated with the freedom the wilds offered her. A fledgling follower of Solonor Thelandira, the elf ranger god, her wanderlust eventually lead her to the Sundered Valley - mostly to find some purpose of her own to stand for, eke a living and return home wiser in the ways of the world. Who knows what fortune (or misfortune!) awaits her there?
Some of you have seen and chatted with her a bit, some don't. Regardless, I offer my wellwishes to the community and hope to spend some enjoyable moments with you.
