Hey there everyone.
I have played here before as Garreth Blade.
I've been getting a reminder email ever since asking me to come back :P
Even though it is automated I can't help but -assume- that naturally you guys miss me just -=that=- much!
At either rate, the silly thing asked me to make a post before I download the client updater.
I am going to update and log in and take a look around - I might be coming back.

Yes, we have class and race restrictions, this has never stopped anyone from having fun and it creates a far more immersive roleplay environment.

I understand the reason behind restricting the race.
If races were not restricted then everyone and their mother would want to be the one unique savior or damnifier of the world.
I played on this server and played a tiefling before by the name of Garreth Blade.
Once I finish updating I will try to find which account he is on if he still exists.
If he does not exist I will happily make the request to recreate him as a tiefling just as he was before.

I believe my roleplay was very favorable with the players and dms of the server back when I played before and I would hope that the request would be granted!

ECL races are normally granted as rewards for good roleplaying (See; Roleplayer Of Teh Month) So your request might not be accepted anymore.
If you cant play as a tiefling you could always start as a human

Since playing here there has been a certain wholesome feeling about playing common races again, I know I much prefer it this way because it gives you more incentive to roleplay your characters personality rather than his background

I would hope to return under the same character I had before.
I cannot seem to find him though, I think he was wiped.
Garreth Blade... He was; however, a tiefling and my pride and joy of a character.
Unlike many players I prefer to only have 1 character and pour myself into him. I have been receiving emails consistantly for the past year asking me to return to sundren and asking if they could "tempt" me back.

I only ask that I am given my one character back, or atleast the ability to remake him as he was.
I earned him through my dedication and good role playing last time >.<

I should hope the DMs would not ask I earn back what I had a second time.
It would be like a slap in the face, really. I don't think I could contently go around and give it my best to roleplay a character that I would rather not be playing just to earn the right to play my one and only character again ^_^;;

Garreth Blade was a bit of an asocial ass. True enough playing an asocial character, while it seems like a wonderful idea is actually very difficult to get involved in roleplay and inspire it around him but I was and am extremely good at it. It is my prefered style I suppose and I would feel naked trying to roleplay an asocialite that seems as though he is trying to hide something if it weren't legitimate.

At either rate I did not figure asking for what I already had before would be asking too much when I am a returning veteran

ah well, you guys have fun ^_^;; I might step in every once in a while but I am going to attempt to find a server that is as good as this one that will let me play my character if such a thing exists.

Last time I went on there it was beta and lagged like hell though!

I doubt that there is a single module out there for NWN2 that has as much development time and refinement as Sundren.

I'll take what I can get.
I'm gonna find a home in which I can play my character instead of a cheap knockoff that I am not happy with.
I assumed since I kept getting the same email asking me to come back to Sundren that perhaps I would resume where I left off.
That is not an option and I understand that since there was a wipe, but even that being the case I figured the dm's would be a bit more sympathetic and atleast let me recreate my character.
