    Hi folks, new player here

    Greetings to everyone on Sundren! I'm attempting to start a sorcerer on your server. I've removed all other overrides, haks, etc, and downloaded and ran your updater. But I'm having some difficulty logging in, crashing about half the time, and experiencing pretty bad lag when I do get in. I'm going to guess this is because I'm playing on Saturday night prime time, and hope for the best .
    I read the website FAQ, etc, pretty thoroughly and I just had a couple questions. Is there somewhere I can find info about how spells have been modified on Sundren? Also, I was wondering if there are roleplay requirements for obtaining access to prestige classes, such as Arcane Scholar and Blackguard?

    Welcome! The wiki has a lot of good info if you haven't seen it yet (http://www.sundren.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page) and should answer your custom spell, feats, and prestige class requirements. There are only a very few classes that need DM events. Otherwise, you're welcome to make any prestige classes.

    (and regarding the lag and such, it should be temporary thing. We're just waiting for Canada to become the 51st state so we can upgrade their communication infrastructure. *waiting to get smitten and perma-banned. )

        Wow, someone's going to have a few characters perm'd by a bolt of lightning standing in the middle of the campfire.
        The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
