    Hello!

    Hello to everyone! Mike here.

    Looking forward to some great RPing! I am a newb so please bear with me. Any advise for me I'll take. I have jumped on a little and, so far, so good. Everyone has been great to interact with!

    Here is a question too... I already want to re-do my character to tweak him based on what I have learned already. Is it easy to make subtle changes? Or, should I delete and start again from scratch?

    I can't wait to jump on and play more!

    As for subtle changes, I don't know what level you are, but take into cosideration your RP. Are these things so bad you can't overcome them?

    For instance, I messed up some background stuff on my character at creation and wasn't allowed to take Red Wizard levels (which I wanted SO SO bad!). I wanted to restart him, but stuck with it, instead. It adds a lot of depth to the RP richness of the character. He worked with the Thayan Enclave for a while dealing in information. Now, he hates Red Wizards, but still hopes to influence someone enough to allow him admittance on some level. If he doesn't, it's likely he'll start working torwards magekiller prereqs for the purpose of hunting and killing Red Wizards (please don't metagame this information, people ;P). It's left him open to a lot of variation of RP depending on how the DMs/server environment acts and reacts to him.

      Metagaming that info won't matter too much I think. Even a magekiller is a spellbag for the DC's of a Red Wizard.
      The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

        Saulus hasn't realized just how high a mage killer's saving throw can get. Enough to have a damn good chance of fighting off red wizard DCs.

        Gotta love MageKiller + Superior Resistance = +10 to all saves

            Thanks for the advice Larando, I think I will stick with my character (Ru'umel) the way he is. One issue was the voice that he has, but, you're right, it gives him character. I could work the strange voice into his backround, etc. It actually adds an interesting twist to RPing that I could enjoy.
