Well hi there! I hope I can make a character that isn't too lame, and actually fun to roleplay with.

Also, it says my CD Key is invalid when I try and connect [[I have downloaded the Client]]

Do I have to do something on the forums before joining? And no, both my expansion for MotB and NWN2 are retail ^.^

You need to manually edit your nwn2cdkey.ini and verify both keys (it's in Atari/NWN2 folder under Program Files).

You probably bought NWN2 gold and it has a bug where it doesn't install the keys properly.

This happened with me as well. if you did get Gold, then you might have the same problem. the CD keys in the book are switched so you have to go in and manually switch the two. That worked for me. as for your char being lame, this is my first real rp experience ever, and the community here makes it pretty hard for your chars or your rp to suck from what i can see. So no worries and welcome.

Oh nice, and I will get right onto trying this. I was playing the new 'bring down the sky' mass effect addon for PC, that like just came out. Fun stuff!

Edit: Arg, I made a big edit and it said "ERROR: refresh page, you lose all your text silly head" -.-

Anyway, I found a file called nwncdkey, not even an .ini file unless Configuration Settings is .ini. I opened it and it had as follows

[CDKEY]

Key1=###...
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The first key was my NWN2 cd key, but it was lacking Key2=, so I placed it right below Key1, and I was able to get past the 'CD Key invalid' error screen into the character creation. I still might have some unforseen error during character creation somehow, but at least we got through that part! Thanks ever so much :3

Oh yes, I diddn't buy the gold edition. Whats in gold edition? those new campaigns?

so long as the gods arn't consipering against you, then you should be fine, and Gold Edition just comes with both NWN2 and MoTB, nothing more.

A question as I go to bed, best to throw it out there, Is there a way to slow the rotate-camera sensitivity on the mouse if you hold the middle mouse-wheel button?

I'll clarify my question tommorrow if your confused by it.. I'm a bit tired.

In Options under Strategy Mode, thers an option called Turn Speed Using Mouse at the top right corner. Thats the middle mouse sensitivity =D
