  • Greetings, and well met!

Hey y'all, I thought I'd obey the omniscient label at the top of the page and say hello to the community in the Introductions forum, so... ...hello, community!

I am Beorn... ...or rather, that's a name I often use in these venues (one of my first names in real life is Björn, you see, but Beorn feels a bit more 'fantasy'... ...and doesn't contain any scary umlauts). This will not, in fact, be the name of my first character here (featuring he's accepted); I think I've settled on a name for him, but I'm always nervous about this particular aspect of character creation.
Now, basically, I've really enjoyed role-playing in games such as Ultima Online, Star Wars Galaxies and persistent worlds in Neverwinter Nights [1], and I've been looking for a nice place to settle down in NWN2... ...and it sees to me like Sundren is exactly what I'm looking for! My brother may very well be joining us later on, and hopefully we will be able to add to your experience here!

    Right, so... ...cheery-o!

    Welcome to Sundren

Hey, welcome. Yeah, this is an awesome server. Very heavy on the RP. It's a community a person can really get into

Glad to have you as a part of it.

Thank you for the warm welcome; it's certainly nice to be here.

Now, I've finished the character background that I was thinking of submitting, but I can't seem to find the character registration form anywhere in the Wiki or the FAQ. I was under the impression that there was such a form; was I mistaken?
Also, regarding the naming convention: Are all non-Elves barred from using apostrophes in their names? I'd like a brief glottal stop in my Human character's surname, but I can always go without if such are the rules.

There's no character registration unless you have won the RPotM.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
