Im new here, and im looking forward to be playing NWN2 online.

I've enjoyed playing NWN1 online, and tried NWN2 a few times (thou i've got the game since it was released).

I haven't deciede how my charater will be, but the site is full of articals and information to get plenty of inspiration.



Off the computer, I am working with computers at Aalborg Univeristy as a part of my education.
So when work, school, hobbies (LARP) and familie isent eating all of my time, i will come HERE and get some good memories.

Being 22 year old, and from Denmark. My English might not always be so great. So if i am a few seconds to reply ingame, or some words might be spelled wrong, then please dont flame me, hehe.

Other than that, i've been roleplaying for almost 9 years. Pen'n'Paper (Warhammer RPG), Larp, Online etc.
And just got 3 D&D 3.5edt. a few months ago. (So i've stille got alot to learn)

I was wondering, why i can't connect to the server.
I saw it once last week, but after that i havent been able to find it?

I've tried to Direct Connect by IP-address. Without luck. (IP; 99.237.44.211) Port 5121.
viperwire.net is neither responding.

And i've been through the serverlist, without luck either.

Maybe i should begin to hang around the Irc channel?

I have updated with the updater from Sundren.

I have looked at the list almost daily. Without being able to spot the server...

Maybe it is filtered away because of the speed of my internet-connection? (All filters are turned off). ?

If your filter has everything turned off it should work

I've made a Traceroute to the server IP.

Connections failed after 13th Hop.

12 gi-4-0-0.gw03.ktgc.phub.net.cable.rogers.com [66.185.81.122]
13 66.185.90.58 < here the packet dosent get forwarded anymore.


So my question is now, are there anything i can do? (All filters are off).

The problem is on a router which should handle the forwarding. Im just wondering if its the ISP or the Supplier of the Server can solve the problem.

Anyways, im having a great time reading the forum, and the site. Great community, rare to find (So far i've experiend).

Don't use viperwire.net, you should see Sundren under the roleplay server listing, if you don't then you definetly have some ISP issues. Alternatively you can direct connect using viperwire.dlinkddns.com
