  • First Post *Hello!

Wanted to say hello to everyone on the forums here. I have played NWN 1 in great detail and loved it. Bought NWN 2 when it first came out and just now recently getting back involved with it. I've Read that Sundren is a really good Roleplaying PW server in regards to a mature audience, so i figured I would try it out. Like to ask a few questions, but i will probably puruse the forums to find if they haven't already been answered. If anyone would like please feel free to reply.

*Must i have the NWN 2 expansion to play in Sundren?
*Does the server use any form of ventrillo or teamspeak for roleplaying?

    Thanks,

    Drogan

    Greetings Drogan!

Yes, the MotB expansion is neccesary to play on Sundren.

As for the teamspeak, it still claims to operate (the 'chat' link at the top of the page), but I'm not actually sure if that's the case.
    I got one leg missin'
    How do I get around?

Welcome to the server. Man I'd be pretty embarrassed to role play over TS or Vent, people in my house can normally hear me when I use that lol. Although for ooc stuff, it's nice.

Welcome -- and for your first two questions, ironically enough they are both covered in our FAQ.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Welcome aboard! Hope you'll enjoy the early days of your stay as much as I do.

RP'ing over ventrilo would be totally awkward. Not only due to others in my house who would hear it, but also because I'd be a kind hearted female do gooder with a fairly heavy male voice

Hmm.. tends to be a slight problem there, Kael. He-lady she orc?
I'd have half a chance, as I have played normal D&D, but there's no way I could remain serious enough for too long. Besides, that people in the house thing would get me too.
Either way, good to have you!
