Heya guys! Just started the whole D&D bit - A friend talked me into purchasing NWN2 and while I was downloading it (<3 Direct 2 Drive ) Started explaining to me the laws and rules of D&D. Was addicted before I even started playing, haha. Should also mention that this is the first time ever trying to attempt RP as well.

Needless to say, I'm still VERY green with it all so a future sorry for any mishaps or mistakes as well as a greeting to the community!

Greetings and welcome Lollercide!

Be sure to check out the FAQ (I'm pretty sure we've got some sort of guide to the basics of roleplaying either there or on the Wiki, and it outlines the rules of the server). The trick is to stay 'in character' as much as possible, and denote all out of character speech by sticking it inside parentheses or something of the sort. Eg; ((Out of character comment here)). Make sure you've got a bit of background and personality worked out for your character, but keep it basic and then add more details as you play (quirks are always a good thing to have for RPing).

Also, if you need a bit of info about the forgotten realms setting, try here. This has info about gods, races, alignments, history, etc...

Be sure to have a look at the Sundren Wiki (link at the top of the page) for info on the setting of this server (it's a custom setting within the forgotten realms).

Oh, and you also need the 'Mask of the Betrayer' expansion to play on Sundren, just so you know.

Don't forget that the laws and rules of D&D 3.5 are VERY different than NWN rules. But they are similar enough.
