  • A dead elf....

Well, here I am... lying in the marshes beneath a small bridge in Muckspear...

As this is my first post, I want to say greetings to all!

My brother drew my attention to the Sundren server a couple weeks ago, and as time permitted (we both have healthy new additions to our families!) we muttled our way through the hills riddled with gnolls and goblins. Long time DND fans (we actually played from the original red box!) we have feverishly searched for and perhaps found a place to relive our youths.

I'm not one to post on forums as you will find, and I have carefully chosen my first post not only to introduce myself, but maybe petition for recognition of my fallen character.

At almost seven seasons a very quick and meri elf was vanquished by the chief of an aspiring clan of muckspears. As it is, the elf having no close associations (no friends) was left alone to bleed out in the cold mud.

As I watched my elf fall, I recounted my surroundings and retraced the steps of my battle to see what if anything I may have done to prevent such a tragic loss. The only thing I can remember is... The bridge had no name. So therefore I wish to petition that the small rickety wooden bridge that permits passage for all would be heroes of Muckspear read "Meri Crossing" for one Meridious Jadys'Varilo.

Hopefully I'll meet you all in the game! More so I hope I meet a cleric with some gold!

    Great server so far....

Have you used a signus to bring yourself back? New characters start with three.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Heads up this is a garbled response between the voices in my head......

*grumbles something about a hasty elf*

              Good post bro!

Just as Thurin named the valley in Shaharan's hill "Needles Run". *grumbles again about how only humans would put a supply trail at the BOTTOM of a valley* Thurin will make sure dwarves everywhere know about Meri and his last stand at "Meri's Crossing"

If'n I find yer bones I'll be sure to stick em in me pack and bring ye back so ye can name it proper. Though, ye'll be bending yer back fer me brethern to pay yer debt. Might be ye'd wish ye stayed dead.

              Oh and RLTW! Sua Sponte!
