Well it has been quite sometime since I left here, in fact I haven't really played any NWN online for about a month now.

The reason I originally left Sundren was my low tolerance for bullies. In my eyes, I saw a this anoying trait in many players as well as a few DM's. I was never the subject of this, but I had witnessed it on many occasions.

I am hoping that people are coming to this server as a means to have fun and enjoy themselves, not vent built up hostilities that they are unable to cope with in the real world. If this additude doesn't fit with the rest of Sundren's players or its Staff, I will humbley bow out and not risk casuing conflict, because that is not my goal. I just want a place to RP and have a good time.

Feel free to post an opinion. I would not ask if I did not wish feedback, good or bad.

Well complaining about staff is something you should really consider, it's not like we hire people and look at resumes... it's all volunteer work and that's all that ever keeps the whole project going.

If we don't live up to your "expectations" well that's unfortunate, I'm sure there are plenty of MMOs with subscription fees in which you can contact the customer service department if you have had an unsatisfying experience.

When people come to the forums and are like "Well I'll 'try' playing here but if anyone bugs me I'm going to leave and find somewhere else to play". It just irritates me because it's almost like a threat "You better change things for me or else I'm walking!".

If you really have a problem with someone griefing you or otherwise breaking or rules, you screenshot it and report it... simple as that... otherwise don't come on this forum and talk about behaviour which you have no proof of other to say that it happened and if it does again you're going to leave.

I also enjoy good RP. Conflict is good and enriches RP, but people who look for reasons to be a**holes, I can go without.

I am trying to be honest, not negative or demeaning.

Well obviously we don't like assholes on our server and if people are breaking our rules then they will be dealt with accordingly, Sundren is a roleplay server, yes.... but it's also public.. and sometimes people who are out to give others a hard time can pop up... we always do our best to deal with them but we can never have a perfect world.

I wouldn't say Sundren is hunting for players, but we're not turning them away either... more people means more work in administration and higher server costs are involved, and with more people can come more players who are just out there for self... so it all really depends on perspective.

We promote good RP here and no one can say otherwise about that, but we aren't in this for the lowest common denominator (getting the most players), if we were... then we wouldn't change our death like how we have it... but we have our own goals and vision and I think when a lot of people see us get close to the final product of that they'll understand why it took so much time and why we made the changes we did.

Whether we have 20 players or 40 players I'm just happy to keep doing what I'm doing and enjoy doing it.

The fact that you took the time to reply means a great deal. I appreciate your honesty and straight forward manner.

I was one of the last to leave when this server went down about a year ago (I think) and I look forward to playing again. I know many people on this server and look forward to role playing with them again.
