  • Fire fixes everything

Hello, I tend to be a midway roleplayer. While i do attempt to roleplay the game is still just a game to me.

I will probally make alot of suggestions, Mostly suggestions that are geared towards finishing some of the things Obsidian started to do (Palemaster 3.0 to 3.5 convention for instance)

My characters are usually split into three groups, all three are humans.

Penndragoon, Good aligned (unless needed non-good for class reasons.) - specializes in magic. Hates Triskavanskis

    Members currently are
Avalon Penndragoon - Battlemage (sorc + ek) - Avalon's weapon is a quarter staff and tends to be a little rash in her decisions. She specializes in combat oriented magic (aka Buffs).

Marcus Penndragoon -Lore seeker (wiz+scholar) - Marcus is Avalons grandfather. His goal is to learn all the magic and secrets of the world. (I'd rather have lore master up there, but alas it is missing.)

Triskavanski, Evil aligned - specializes in magic. Hates Penndragoons

Momo Triskavanski - Fire Mage (wiz+RwoT+scholar) Momo specilizes in fire. Her saying is "Fire fixes everything if used properly. If it doesn't fix the problem or causes more, you didn't use enough of it."
Role playing wise, she really isn't a RwoT, she just focuses all of her magic study into casting fire spells. She is also extreamly hot headed as expected for someone of her elemental. (other class build would be sorc+scholar)

Vladmire Triskvanski - Necromancer (wiz+RwoT+Palemaster) Like Momo Vlad is extremely focused in necromancy. Vlads eventual goals is to create an unholy legion of undead or find a way to live for ever. (other character build would just be wiz+Palemaster)(game play wise though, im hoping that there could be a few more actual attack spells for necromancy in the early levels.)

Trepes Triskavanski - Imapler (Cleric + Stormlord + weapon master)
Trepes is unlike his his brother and sister. (really they are cousins) and focuses in spears rather than magic, though he still has some to back him up though. His personal quote is "There is an increase in crime, because there is a decrease in my impaling of people."

Mystil Family - specilization: Stealth - doesnt really care too much about the fued between the above families. they tend to be neutral

Picho Mystil - Life Thief (rog+sin+invis)
Picho is a bit of a tricky individual, with his twin brother Puck. He focus in using two daggers to strike down his foes. He, as is his twin, is albino. Infact most of the Mystil family is, which is how they get the name the Ghosts. (AT would be in there as well if Assassin counted as an arcane class like it should)

Puck Mystil - Trickster (rog + sorc + AT) Puck is much more annoying than Picho is, at least when facing head on. He hardly stays around for longer than he has to, using invisability to sneak around, followed by a ray of frost into your gullet. (that is of course assuming that touch spells (rays and melee touch attack spells) can be sneak attacked with like they should.)

And so there is a brief history of the hand full of characters i plan to make.

    Welcome.

Make sure you thoroughly read our FAQ to know our policies on certain races/classes as well as our rules.

Also remember that while we have some people who are inexperienced at roleplaying this does not mean it is optional.

    Have fun!
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

      I checked the FAQ.

On NWN2 says RwoT is DM approval needed. In FAQ it doesn't say so.

Says that RDD, Warlock and Favored Soul are however.

Red Wizard of Thay is something awarded to players by DMs, it's not something you can apply for.

We don't "nerf" anything. Some people seem to think we have "nerfed" mages... But in reality we modified a few buffing spells to behave as per NWN1 rules so people's AC isn't out of balance for the server.

                  ...wow, an entire army.

Though I will say that you may find yourself playing with one maybe two characters after you get a taste. Seems the longer you play and get to know others, others get to know you, get involved in the plot(s) playing multiple characters is like a 2nd job mainly because you have to get to know everyone again, build up a reputation, etc.

I had 3 characters I wanted to play.
                  I rolled 2 up.
                  I entered Sundren.

                  I haven't looked back.

Alt to me is the key next to the spacebar.

welcome to Sundren...ummm, all of you.

                    In otherwords...

Armor doesn't stack with armor, shield doesn't stack with shield and defection doesn't stack either?

Just a quick question on that though.. the inherent class bonuses stack? like if somehow i was a RDD/Palemaster would those two stack? Or if i was palemaster and casted spider skin?

I tend to suffer from altitis.

I make several characters, one or two of them get higher, then i make more.
