Greetings, friends!
I've done a few persistent world servers before in NWN, but my outings have never been to my satisfaction regarding the communities. They were either entirely too strict or entirely too ridiculous. That being said, Sundren comes off as incredibly compatible with what I'd like in my PW experiences. I searched through almost the entire general discussion forum and several other forums to see how gameplay mechanics and ethical standards were thought of by the community. (Knockdown, powergaming, and use of the stats to represent character traits were particularly interesting threads to me.)
I think I spent a few hours reading the forums before I even started the download, then read even more while it was downloading. That and I've been trying to plan a character that is suitable for the RP concept I had in mind. (Can anyone tell me why Expert Tactician is a dexterity feat and not an intelligence feat, by the by? That so ruins stat placement if I wanted it and its so perfect for my character, but I'm already spreading stats woefully short for my Paladin of the Red Knight.)
I truly hope that I find what I'm looking for in the Sundren community, I look forward to interacting with your characters in game and with you all on the forums.
