  • Hello and questions

Hey all. I've done some NWN2 server scanning and I think I finally decided to put some roots down in yours for the time being.

I just ordered NWN2 so I haven't yet played it (aside from the beta), but I think I'll work out a character and background so I'm ready to go when I get around to going online. I know I'm going to go with a bard but I haven't yet decided on a gnome/human/half-elf yet.

    Now, onto my questions.

First off, I can't seem to find the death rules posted anywhere. I found a few things on the bioboards and the vault, but nothing specific in what respawning actually means.

Also, I'm curious what exactly these "regulations" are that were posted as a comment on the vault:

Having spent time on the staff side of NWN1 servers, I have a feeling that this might be something like "they require I be a Thayan to take the Red Wizard PrC" [or similar] and not "all gold elves must dislike non-elves".

I'm sure I'll have a few other questions as I look over things more carefully, but thanks for the answers in advance.

I believe the death penalty is no xp loss till lvl 5, then 5% xp loss.

Also note you will need the NWN2 expansion, Mask of the Betrayer to play on Sundren.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
