  • Hail Role Players

    Sundren Community,

I am very impressed with team assembled who dedicated so much volunteer time to make a serious nwn2 persistent world. It seems NWN2 had a very slow start in building up quality playing communities with the same zeal and dedicated the first release had but this community is certainly a testament to the passion role players have for this game.

A quick introduction because I am eager to see the fruits of your labor and hard work, My name is Scott and I have been a long time D&D player since the first release of the players handbook by Gary Gyaxx. I am full time professional graphics artist for Canada Web Hosting (www.canadawebhosting.com) and enjoy wide variety of art including fantasy art of Tolkien genre. My two favorite writers are JRR Tolkien and RA Salvator. My favorite book is the Silmarillion.

I have role played on numerous nwn communities and for year hosted openRPG community and have some wonderful artwork to show for it.

I look forward to meeting you all IC as my primary character Morganna de Flay.

      Feedback from the sundren community

      Morganna de Flay,

I have been reading the forum trying to get a feel of the community and of course the rules, this is something I like to do before I start playing.

I would like some feedback on the balance of alignment in Sundren. I have been playing good alignment characters for some time now and recently have switched over to the dark side with more shaded characters but If there are too many villians in Sundren I don't mind going back to the light.

My exerience has been on other servers that people gravitiate to the evil alignment character because of the ECL races and typically you get a glut of villians. I have both wonderful good characters and equally interesting bad characters to play with deep backgrounds of character history. In any case when I pvp I like to be evloved in a plot which gives purpose to my characters actions.

Some input from the Sundren Community would be very helpful on this point.

      Thanks,

      Scott

How many of them are evil??? That's a damned good question *gives paranoid looks to his fellow players*. But surely, there can never be too many villains!
        I got one leg missin'
        How do I get around?

Theres little evil. Join Banes side! Of course, its quite hard to find out who the hell is evil. I don't know, we have lots of good guys.

come to the dark side!! you know you want to.. all your friends are doin it.. youll be popular..

Well the evil side is lacking as opposed to the good guys and the ones who are in the middle. Though if your evil, Id strongly suggest going the route of Bane.

            Welcome aboard mate.
