First let me compliment the website; it's easy on the eyes, easy to find things, and has a RP-focused community *claps*

I've not been online @ Sundren yet, but have been playing on a few other NWN2 servers. Could someone point me at the preferred method of updating before i try to login to the server for the 1st time.

My friends and i are avid long-time RPers looking for another great server.

It will update you with all the files required to connect.

Couple of quick questions (i tried searching first )

1. What's the rest interval?
2. If my character's base-INTelligence increases, will he gain new languages?
3. What's the relative magic-level here? (if that's "spoiler" info, feel free to ignore) IE. +1 weapons are the norm, +5 avengers are spilling onto the streets, or the like *lol*
4. Could someone give me a short PvP explanation regarding the most current rules (i read it, but it seemed grey in some areas -- is there a "Raise Rule"?).
5. What's the respawn penalties? (PvP-respawning costs no XP?)
6. Has anyone else noticed a rise in lag since the 1.10 patch?

People forget the last few minutes before their deaths, that way, someone cannot just be raised to scream bloody murder.

I've noticed a little lag, but that just might be because a buffed up level 26 party is pretty effects heavy :P

-The rest interval doesnt kick in till your above level 5, once this happens it should be about 4-6 minutes or so before you can rest again.

-Im not quite sure, but I would assume so.

-So far from what I can tell is this world is low magic. +1 is the highest enchantment Ive seen so far, but there are few exceptions to that.

-PVP has to be agreed apon by both players, the "Grey" areas are when no one agrees to it, but they dont mind if it has to deal with a story line or event. You just cant run up to someone and kill them and then say "You looked at me the wrong way". There has to be RP to it before you kill anyone. I always send a PM in game after I kill someone appologizing and offer to raise them; Id hate to ruin someone elses fun time if they took the kill the wrong way

5. What's the respawn penalties? (PvP-respawning costs no XP?)
-I dont know the actual equation since it wasnt working the way people said it would. At level 8 if I died, I lost 400 xp, and no gold. You only lose this if you respawn through the Essence of Night. If you are raised then you lose nothing.


6. Has anyone else noticed a rise in lag since the 1.10 patch?
-Yes I have noticed more lag since this patch, but then again thats probably due to the forking of code and data from MOTB that isnt there yet. Once MOTB is installed, you should see an increase in game stability across the board.
