  • Greetings, with a problem

Hello to all the sundren folks. I have just created a character and am looking forward to playing the mod, doin a little RPin and such. One problem though. I keep getting booted about 30 seconds after logging in. I haven't so much as moved since creating a character. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

    Welcome to Sundren.

As for getting booted, there are several possible reasons.
Are you playing an ECl race? These require the approval before they can be played.
Have you updated to the latest Sundren version via the client patch utility?

If you can be a little more specific in what the problem is, it is easier to assist you.

I picked Drow, is that what you mean by ECL??? If that's the case who gives permission for it? I read through the forums, didn't see any rules stating i can't make Drow.

Drow is an ECL race, info on how to play one of those races can be found at the link below.

ECL means.. effective character level (or something like that) races that are stronger then the basic races such as drow tiefling and such all have them, which makes them require more xp to gain levels.

There should be a message that pops up saying you're using an ECL race and to read more about it on the FAQ of the forums... and that ECL races are moderated... you didn't see that big message in the centre of the screen?
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Well, I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but no, I didn't see a big pop up telling me they were moderated,.......that doesn't mean it wasn't there though.
