Hey, I figured since this place seems so great I might as well give it an extended run. Forecasts predict I won't be disappointed.
Great success!
Eh, anyway, I'm a student living in Nanaimo, British Columbia who hops ship into University at the end of this semester. I've been roleplaying roughly half my life and, unlike most folks, I started in first-person shooters around 1999-2000. Yeah, my roots in roleplaying lie in gory graphical thrillers. From there came Neverwinter Nights followed by Guild Wars followed by a plethora of forums followed by messengers, etc. I think for the most part I've roleplayed on every platform readily available... except table-top, the irony.
Aside from that, my time on Neverwinter Nights was... well, actually, pretty awesome. Eh, dorky, nerdy, however you want to view it, Neverwinter Nights was a portal to a world I enjoyed greatly. Neverwinter Nights II will hopefully bring the same experience. I did everything on Neverwinter Nights from the powergaming, the roleplaying, administrating a server, to dungeon mastering, even scripting and building, and none of it was dull. So tremble with fear! Because I'm easily amused.
Anyway, I'm lame with introductions, so there you go. Nice to meet everyone, hope I fit in.
