I started playing AD&D in 1979 and never grew up since.
I used to play NWN when it first came out but have not played till just recently. I also used to play a few live action roleplaying games. but due to work I found hard to make time for the events (ok i grew up as little)


My first character is Darson Hartman a Fighter who has left his life as Sailor and turnerd to a life of adventurer
Son of Torbane Hartman a Valkur Cleric and merchant vessal Capt, .......

by "Background" if you mean your character bio, there's an in-game button that lets you edit your character biography/description.



You can also make a page of your character in the Sundren wiki. You'll have to send a request to get an account, though.


As for faction, there are mechanical ways to do it (certain people hanging around...alternatively, you may want to read up on them ). There are also players about who have characters that can induct you into the faction you want, or you can poke a DM.
