Hello.
You posted in the greeting thread of someone else, so maybe someone with moderator powers will separate the posts.
To answer your question: Yuan-ti is a locked race, and you cannot play a Yuan-ti unless you win the Biography contest, which is a subsection of the Role Player of the Month contest.
You will need to create a regular race and class character to get started on Sundren. Please refer to the Wiki for additional information on our rules and setting.
