Hello! My name is Farmboy2003. It's really not. I've been playing nwn for as long as my handle implies, and various other types of rpgs since... Well, A Very Long Time Ago.
I've been trying to get a footing on Sundren for almost a year now I think. But reformats, other projects(real life), a desire to run NWN2 on Ubuntu etc. have gotten in the way. Also the character creation limitations have been a great and frustrating barrier to overcome. I think I may have made it now. I've looked at the "you're new" message on the forum for so long that it is starting to become almost rude not to post a greeting...
I like HCR servers, and there's not many left. I like the challenge of the limitations of the server set by the staff, and the low-magic feel even if low-magic is hard to attain in nwn2. I like how it forces players to adapt new strategies and think different. RPGs and computer RPGs in particular have recently developed in such epic and magical ways that I've begun to feel really old.
I've had a few failed attempts at characters, but I feel confident that Tanith is the one with the most fun. I don't much like forums, particularly those with so many subforums as this one, so I won't be that active(unless you're sooper nice). It may also explain my late greeting.
I play at CET, and my playstyle is usually low-key and exploration. I don't expect a lot of DM attention(not that I don't want any), and generally make my own fun/trouble. I'd like to think of my self as easy to be around, and having a slightly too quick reaction to bullshit. I came here considering the ratio of screaming 12 year-olds to be fairly low. I hope I'm right
See you around!
