  • A shifter greeting!

Hello everyone, it will be nice to be able to meet you in Sundren. I look forward to RPing with you guys, and gals! Also, I was wondering if there was any MoMF's out there who could help me make a decent build... I tried to post on the public info but I guess that is for higher ranked members. And I also looked on the thread Master of Many Forms about the starting stats for str, con, and dex.. Two people said different things so I am hoping someone could let me in on the secret. I was also wondering if the kobold form is like the nwn1 kobold form where he can HiPS, but if he can't I would like to be able to do that with a neutral evil build. Thank you for the greets, and helping me with the build. Hopefully I will RP my way up there with you guys!

    First off Welcome to Sudren!
As far as I know Master of Many Forms doesnt work as intended. I dont know how exactly but im sure there are a few people who have taken it on sundren and have been somewhat dissappointed by it. Dont mean to dissuade you at all - druids are still very good fun to RP (my first character on here was a pure druid) and a very strong class.

It's not that it doesn't work as intended, it's that the class itself is fairly underwhelming.

Welcome! A pleasure to meet you too!

        Poor old MoMF.

It really does have amazing RP potential, and in the right circumstances (Roleplay, with a DM about) it really shines.

Mechanically though the whole shape-changing/Polymorph system that NWN2 uses is so depressing bugged, broken and generally irreparable that it tends to spoil almost everything outside of RP.

As for stats, the polymorph system means that you'll keep your mental statistics (INT, WIS, CHA. Very important if you want to polymorph into a pretty pony) while your physical statistics (STR, DEX, CON) are derived from the shape you change into. Activated feats (Knockdown, disarm, etc) do not carry across into new shapes while Passive and Mode feats (Power Attack, Cleave) do. Most of the time.

The kobold does not have HiPS. For that you'd need to mix in 4 levels of Shadowdancer or 9 levels of assassin for hilarious ninja-bear fun.
It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can.

I thought uses per day didn't stack or something to that effect? Just like nature's warrior.
