Hello, everyone.
I am new to Sundren, and I am not at the same time, if you consider the time I registered at the forum. So allow me to explain my situation :P.
I played on Sundren a long time ago for just a few weeks. At the time, it was difficult for me to play with reasonable frequency. That is because I didn't have Internet at home (I used to go to the university where I study, which is quite close to my home). Generally I would play at the weekend, and in the next weekend, people would hardly remember me.
Eventually I had a problem with my laptop as well, and the new one I bought could not run NWN2, so I stopped playing.
Nevertheless, although I played only a little, I was impressed with the server. I cannot say much about the rolelplaying part at that time, because I interacted with few people, but the technical aspects of the server were so superior to everything I saw previously. I was amazed by the custom spells and classes (and now the skills as well), by the details (I love the fact that the NPCs usually have something to say), by the reputation system (I don't know if Sundren had that at the time, but these are just examples)... Everything seemed to be so carefully thought, and the presentation was so... professional.
Then, a few days ago, I bought a new laptop. I bought NWN2 again at the Steam, and here I am playing again.
I have been playing for something like 4 days now, and I am still impressed. And some of the people I met were really amazing at roleplaying.
Since I am not a native english speaker, the language itself is frequently a limitation to my roleplay (frequently, I will not describe a certain action because I am missing some words...), but I hope I can entertain people playing with me. I decided to create a simple character, since I am basically new to Sundren, taking inspiration from a quote I once heard: ""Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". So I created a wizard sun elf, Thalassa. Although I do not plan a 'sophisticated' behavior for this character, I hope she will be a credible character in her simplicity.
