    Hello, I am new to the server (obviously). I have been a role-player my whole life, though I have not actively role-played in the Forgotten Realms in a looong time. (My love affair with D&D went cold after Wizards bought TSR, and my group moved on to other systems) My knowledge of Faerun has gotten a bit rusty, so I am dong some reading trying to get back up to speed. Please be patient with me

    I also have some friends who may be joining me on the server, though they aren't likely to show up on the forums.

        Also might I recommend a character that is naive or likewise less informed. Low on lore skills and such... a street urchin, county bumpkin, barbarian... something like that could get you up to speed quickly I think.

        Anyway be welcome and ask questions if you have them. Other general tips: Sundren is HUGE take the time to explore. Start in port Avanthyr there are many entry level quests that will get you familiar with our geography.
