Hello there! ...and help!

I used to play on this server back in the day and have been out of the loop/country for a bit. Long story short, I just got a new comp and loaded NWN2 on here and I need to patch to get things going again on Sundren. I'm currently rocking V1.02 and I know I'm behind the curve on this but I remember there used to be an update button or something. I can't join the game...or any game for that matter--what should I download!?

Have you ran the nwn2 updater?

Do you have both Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir expansions installed? If so, you should see an UPDATE button near the bottom of the main launch screen when you double-click to start NWN2. Running the updater should get you patched to the most current version of the game. If it doesn't, then post here again and someone (probably me) will see about finding you a download site.

yes and no. i have both expansions since i bought the platinum version this time and have installed it all. there is NO/NO update buttion, i've searched long and hard for it and i apologize for not making that clear. i remember having that button available and i have no idea why it's not there anymore. so i cruised around looking for the latest update and since this game has gone out of production there's not a lot of recent stuff on it. i'd very much appreciate a good point in the right direction for the best (easiest) way to download the most current patch.

(dumb question) downloading the most current patch will also update all the other stuff that had been patched in the past right?

The update button is on the launcher menu and not in the main menu of the game

go into the install directory and look for NWN2Launcher.exe and launch it from that

from what i remember of it the updating takes a long time and you have to hit update more than once throughout the process

that's what was missing, the launcher. i did as you said and have initiated the update process...okay, it tells me

anyone ever see anything like this? i've submitted a ticket with Atari but who knows...i don't have any experience with their customer service.

Reinstall everything. (for NWN2). From fresh. Your files are fucked/corrupted.
