    'Lo there everyone!

    Hey there! I've been lurking around on the forums once in a while, checking a few things here and there and I gotta admit that I like what I'm looking, so I'm thinking about applying up for a character here and try the server out for good.

    But before I do that I'd like to ask a few questions *looks around* um... if this board is ok for it that is.
    1, Is it alright for me to bring a character of mine from another server? I play as Malek Sigers on aythor.
    2, My character has a personal item, the cloak of his grandfather (Paus' Cloak, +1 to universal saving throws) and I was wondering if there was a way for me to get it, though it wouldn't make THAT much of a diference since i can come up with a good RP reason for not having it.
    3, (this is the last one, sorry 'bout that), I would just like to know what would I need to do to get the Divine Champion PC (appart from RPing well that is) since this is the path I'm planning for my character.

    Anyways, just saying "Hi" to you all, feel free not to answer the questions if you don't want to, and I'm already working on the bio for Malek so I'll see you all in-game soon.

    1) The character has to be from Faerun. You could for instance just change the place of birth for the character and keep the rest of his personality?

      Oh, alright thanks, I'll just change the continent the place he lived in is located in but there is something else... I noticed there are some people my character Malek, used to know in aythor, two of them are Tamara Roth and Ula Fey, what do I do? Is my character supposed to know them still or not?

        You'd have to ask them in tells before you actually meet them ingame. If not possible, try and clear it with them quickly when/if you meet them in person. Otherwise, you can always try and track them down over the forums/irc and send a PM, or something.

          1. Already been explained.

          2. Have no clue, why don't you just buy a cloak of protection or whatever and pretend its your grandfathers, that'll work fine.

          3. I don't think anythings really required for DC, just roleplay your faith to your god, but i never had to ask for syl to become a DC.

            Errr...explaining how we all ended up on a different demi-plane might be a bit difficult. And it also puts other players under an obligation to play along when they may already have established themselves with a different back-story. So I'd say no, it's a completely new start. That's certainly how I've played it.

            On the plus side, you get to meet everyone all over again, and it's fun seeing if the characters are being played the same or differently

              Well, they were just about to meet again properly when the server crashed and I had to go to bed...
