Ninja are more entertaining though and pen and paper game wise I could make a ninja that could own rogues with out taking a single hit of damage.

Ninja do very well with out levels in rogue....infact monk and ninja make a very good class combo in pen and paper. I mean hell my friend ended up head butting a dragon to death >.<

You'll have to settle for monk/assassin (it meshes SOOOO SWEET!) on sundren. Since we dont have the ninja class (Why not eh?).

Also if we had ninja's no one would play anything else duh! They are the chuck norris of the character class world. ninjas are the equivalent of drizzit do urden but without the soul searching.
