Just a note to say I've started playing on your server. I started a pure wizard, but seeing the number of spellcasters on your servers, I'm looking around for an alternative.
That shouldn't be too hard to find. Although your server seems oriented toward the power of spellcasters and towards crafting (which i do not favor for PCs, since it should take a lifetime of devotion to a craft to master it, something you cannot do while also adventuring), I see many openings for other classes.
Since I usually play either a spellcaster or a rogue of various sorts, but have played since 1975 in a variety of roles, I should not have too much trouble RPing a clever thief, wandering vagabond, footloose swashbuckler, or any of a number of other roles. I'm just looking around a bit for the other RP possibilities to find some convenient hole to fill. Of course, I would like my caharacter to be survivable and have an in-game reason to exist. Perhaps a swashbuckler that fled his most recent place of residence because of one too many time ignoring the local laws?
