I was thinking more along the lines of Sharite I'm thinking of using darkness and devil's sight to allow me sneak attacks and 50% concealment without reprocussion.

Rethink! A cleric/warlock would also be good and closer to the roleplay I want to follow. I can also use the darksight spell to give the same effect as devil's sight to all, then cast darkness and flee the scene to give everyone haste, 50% concealment and free sneak attacks. I may not follow Shar, as followers of Shar tend not to be party support characters. Maybe I'll even play a good character who's bloodline is linked to a warlock?

That does bring me onto another question! How big do parties tend to be in Sundren? Is there an emphasis on hunting as a group?

Keep in mind this is a roleplay server and if choosing a character is purely based on stats/PvP benefits and abilities you will have a difficult time getting your application approved.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

You mean tailor my build to my RP, not my RP to my build?

                Yes, that would be neat.

But even many of the good roleplayers don't do that.
