Hi,

I am new to Sundren server, just a quick post to say hello. I created a Samurai Character, but I am when I log in that he is restricted, and to view the FAQ. I can't see anything in the FAQ in regards to the Samurai class being restricted, only certain Races. My character is a human samurai. What do I do now? Thanks in advance.

I'm glad you found the wiki... if you look under classes and the Samurai page here.

You will see the following.

Samurai must swear allegiance to a lord. Lords can be other PCs of level 10+, existing Sundren NPCs, or even figments of your imagination in other lands. Please role play your character as following your lord's will. We do not have Ronin here.

Essentially you need to swear to a lord which needs to be RPed out ICly, and then we can give approval, if you want to start a level 1 Samurai then post a char request on your intentions. The DMs can help you out with the rest.

If you look here: http://www.sundren.org/wiki/index.php?title=Samurai You will see that the reason why the class needs to be approved is because you need to fulfill the requirements of what it says for a lord.

Thanks for the direction on the Samurai pre-requisites. I will leave him idle for now and create another character-class , until I have a better understanding of the legend and lore of Sundren.

The lord doesnt have to be a samurai or ex samurai does it; It can just be someone of 10th level of above who is willing to accept you as their warden right?
