Feel free to bid higher than you can actually afford, since Master Brom has promised to top all offers he will end up buying at better than the highest bid, present or not.

It has become common knowledge (your PC would know this, though you may not ), that Exigo requires permits for conducting more than simple transactions on their grounds. Auctions, stalls, and repeat merchants need to obtain a permit from the Exigo HQ.
