Question: Crash's from poor Graphic settings?

Because the programmers for NWN2 were so lazy programming the game the specifications required are damn high for the graphics you get out of it. my game has crashed a few times and i was wondering if it was because i have to have everything on low?

My experience is:
The longer it takes to load on a transition the more likely it is to crash. Thus a busy or slow computer will crash more. Almost everyone has transition crashes to vering commonness.

The crashes that happen while just standing about that aren't server crashes, I have no idea.

My computer is quite good (not trying to boast or anything ), but I get very regular crashes on transitions and ones just standing around after 30 seconds of gameplay.

They are fustrating and I don't know the cause of them, but I find it has nothing to do with the graphics being on low.

My laptop is amazing and I crash very frequently too... most of them I find are transition crashes, but there is the occasional "random crash" that no-one really has any idea about.
