I personally found several challenging bosses in NWN2's campaign. One of which was the Reavers (especially when you fight three). I was wondering if anyone else had any particularly frustrating situations in the game?

Which boss/encounter did you find most difficult?
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Well the end battle (before any patches) was the toughest. Luckily though I only had one person turn on me.
That was really it, because I admit it: I cheated and gave myself enough gold to keep my characters well armed and armoured. If it wasn't for that I'm sure I may have had a tad more difficulty in some areas, like the major battle at the keep.
But it's been over two months since I finished that game almost. Don't remember the fights, just the story. There's a thin line between the definition of genius and insanity; I cross it all the time.

Urgh, the 3 Reavers were impossible. The boss is only slightly easier. I haven't beaten him yet, just because I'm too lazy...Character(s)

The reavers were a bit difficult for me but luckily i beat them first try. I also had trouble with the red dragon ... i had to get my whole party buffed up and then have Sand shoot spell stuff at him ( Party attacking the dragon while I play Sand with his spells) that was at 17th level.
The King of Shadows was difficult at first cause I didn't know what to do hahah. But I'd say the King of Shadows was my hardest.Current: Dae'Vesta, freaky female half-drow assassin

The only boss fight I had any trouble with was the King of Shadows' second incarnation (when there are a whole bunch of little manifestations). This was only because I forgot about the Web/Nova combo, and I was trying to take them on with Qara's AoE. Once Ammon gave me his hint, it got a lot easier.
I found the 3 Reaver fight pretty easy, I just buffed everybody up with stoneskin/premonition and started smacking things, with Qara spamming IGMS and Chain Lightning.
The places where I died the most in the game, though, weren't boss fights, they were random dungeons where it was easy to get swarmed. The City Watch quest where you ended up killing Moire, for instance, made me reload quite a few times when I got swarmed by a whole ton of thugs. The Githyanki base was a similar experience, until I started being really careful there.
I was playing on Hardcore difficulty, it might be a different story on different settings.

The King of Shadows second was indeed tough, but I had incredible trouble with the Red Dragon really.. she was TOUGH.
Oh, and when the City Watch invades that warehouse hehe..Fret and fear, for Europe is near.

For me it has to be the time when you fight 2 black dragons at once, I couldn't beat them (I couldn't even hit them, only on a 20!) normally so I went cheap and made myself invincible...Later though I figured out I could have just smashed the heart, if I could survive 10 hits of 200+ damage every second...Do those guys have like 40 attacks per round or something? hehe

Really ?
I found the 2 black dragons alot easier then the single red one haha. I just went witch the little dwarf fighting one dragon and having Sand and that sorcerer witch firing spells at the dragons.
My main character did nothing, he was a rogue/asssin, unable to hurt them -_-Fret and fear, for Europe is near.

Dragons typically have three-four attacks a round when on the ground. Bite/claw/claw/sometimes tail, if I'm not mistaken.-Harbinger of Justice

I didnt have too much trouble with any of the bosses so long as I was all buffed, but yea if i had to choose probable the last manifestation of all the little king of shadows. Although I think mine might of been alittle bugged, half of them seemed to stand around.

i never completed it but i thought the reavers were not to bad because they were fairly easy to kill the hard bit was survivng the dungeon with no rests because you get attacked if you try to rest and when youve got no spells with 3 of your charcters it gets hard
the reason i never completed it is because i ovewrited my save...silly me

yeah that red dragon was a pain. I had to cheat my character invincible to kill her. The Fire giants are only slightly better.
the 3 reaver fight was hard till I did a pull one through the door, smack it down, pull another.
The fight right before the king of shadows was a pain. I hate you Qara.
The blade golem got clitched the first time I fought it and became immortal. I even cheated my main character and sat there for half an hour watching them hit each other.Jaggath Tharn, Better Than Sex.
