Wall of Fire

Anyone know a way to rotate the wall of fire cursor? Say I want it to go vertically in front of me as opposed to horizontally? I can rotate if I cast it right on top of myself and I thought there was a way to do that when targeting a spot elsewhere.

tried changing your camera angles or rotating your avatar on the spot (think turning on one's heel) to coerce the line to reorient itself horizontally in the new "front" of your character?

Wall of Fire has been modified in Sundren so that if you cast it in a wilderness area, it also spawns a druid in bear form that mauls you for starting forest fires.

(As to your question, I think you have to turn your character. It depends on the direction you are facing.)

Wall of fire always casts in a horizontal line infront of you, the only way to change it is re-positioning on your part.

How come sometimes it casts on an individual instead of a line. That is really annoying and resulted in me dying once or twice when all 5 of my walls failed to cast properly

If you have your cursor over a person when you cast it, then it seeks to that target, the same way fireball does. It's sorta a smart cast so that wizards can choose to drop the wall on a spot or a moving target.
