Did you try opening your map and looking at the bottom of ONE OF TWO WAYS YOU CAN GO and happen to read the note that says "To the Gate of the Sunderer."?

Nope the game didnt' mention I was supposed to do that and was supposed to. Also there is no way to know to do that either.

I wish people would grasp the concept that the game need to provide instructions.

Helping is when you elave all the how to instructions in a reply or come in the game itself and show me.

Go somewhere else. The game 'assumes' you have at least a base amount of common sense, during the mega download of all the Sundren files (before you are even allowed to make your first character) there is a text file on the right hand side of the screen.

On the left are the buttons to Create new character, select character and cancel, right opposite BAM! A WHOLE LOAD of information to read that explains a good portion of the server and points to this forum and the wiki that contain any other information.

The fact that you are the onl person unable to comprehend this information screams to me, as a player, that this server isnt for you. Each and every player on this server had the EXACT same info you did, and yet we were able to get into the game and play it fine.

With the shitty attitude you have displayed here, in the open, for everyone to read, I can safely say that you wont find many people willing to stomach your attitude.

I have brought several of my friends to play on this server, none of whom had ever played NWN1 or 2, and none of them had any of the problems you had in figuring out things on their own. If you want to know what you can and cannot do, do some reading, this website can tell you a lot, if you have other questions, there are staff who can answer them. If you dont have the time for that, dont play. Period.

And I suggest you stop making up lame ass excuses. Just because it's free and they volentee,r their time DOES NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE ANYONE THE RIGHT to cause problems with me. If they cannot provide fully detailed and proper instructions about game play basics on their server which they are supposed to be doing, then they shouldn't even be staff.

Not one person has explained how to get out of the starting area and what all you being total and utter douch bags need to get through your heads, is that this whole topic wouldn't be going on right now if the proper instructions have been supplied in the game like they are supposed to be.

Continuing to blame me for the staffs incompitence won't solve the problem. The problem will only get solved by provideing Journal entries for a player upon entering the game that explains how to exit the starting area as well as gives them one or two additional journal entries that send them on their way once they leave the starting area.

As you so plainily said they are here to make playablity enjoyable...NOT CREATE THIS FRIGGING MESS.

And stop comparing me to others that play this game, and trying to use that as justification, when they have information I was not given, is nowhere to be found, and everyone knows it.


I seriously would like to know what WTF is wrong with all you ass hats if you know there is nothing in a players journal, you never get any onscreen messages or anything, and have absolutely no information, then having the balls to say it's easy or no one else has this problem... Seriously where the hell do all of you get teh testicular fortitude to try and say BS statements of figure it out, full well knowing no information is given...

You people have clear issues saying all the information is there while having no journal entry, no on screen pop ups or anything.

it's very simple, the makers of the game adn server need to provide directions that get you out of the starting area, then gives you 1 or 2 additional journal entries that get you on your way.

this at least lets a player know what's going on instead of this crap of no information and playesr being total douche bags saying information that doesnt exist is there.


A new player cannot play this game unless it has fully detailed instructions on it's game play basics which it does not have but everyone that plays it seems to think there is....and that is why they never understand this problem

So I'll make this very simple, they need to add instructions, so that new people can play and there won't be problems...it's really not that had to grasp that you have to have instructions in order to play.
