GUI help

I seem to have lost several features from the GUI.

firstly, my interface window no longer displays portraits (my chars or other chars) - replacing them with "Missing 2d textures* or something like that.

It also comes up with some of these for the places on the world map

Also i can only purchase bulk items one at a time. The purchase bulk items e.g. " click to buy 20 arrows" does not register. I have to right click buy - and then i only get 1 item and it cost 1 gp a pop eg for arrows, but potions are at regular single price. It has really cramped my Missile weapon usage.


If there is anyone out there that can make my interface world prettier, pls respond.

I might be wrong, but the missing textures sounds like maybe a corruption in your nwn or maybe an Override? Might make sure you have no overrides installed, and if not reload nwn.

Hi Shedboy,

I'd recommend "reinstalling" Sundren. To your "My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2" directory, and rename the "hak" folder to "hakbak".

Note: this will cause every module you play on to have to be re-downloaded.

Let us know if that fixed it!

Missing textures is usually an indication that my client is about to crash.

As for you buying problem, can not say that I have seen it.

thanks for all your ideas, i'll report back soon. i also noticed that peoples wiz familiars do work.

i might have to bite bullet and do a complete reinstall of the game, very slow updating on a 512 connection

I think Artemis confused your remark about a "512 connection" to be related to RAM, instead of your connection speed

4GB is ample.

cheers all the same. I did the hak reinstall. i think the issue runs deeper, so its the chopping block. reinstall. Thanks again peoples.

Dang! Good luck with that SB! You might even have finished the reinstall and patching by the time I get back in 3 weeks

i found out that even the solo campaigns suffered from the same trouble. I will hold off for a little while longer before making the plunge
