Does anyone know how the paralysis affect is calculated? Is it a straight fort save for the victim? How long does the paralysis last? Any help is appreciated!

It is a fort save vs. 10+Assassin Lvl+ Intell mod. In NWN1 it lasted 1 round per assassin lvl.

I actually just used an assassin on a test mod and paralysis lasted longer then 1 rnd/assassin lvl. I think it maybe 1 per char lvl. not sure but i got 3 or 4 attacks with a lvl 5 rog/lvl 1 ass. so that is at least 3 or 4 rnds.

Oh and Dark your char name had really been bugging me. I knew I had seen it before. Just all one name Versingetorix.

Does it really matter? After all, once you're paralized you become the victim of either multiple "sneak attack" like hits or a Coupe de Grace. Either way, you're sucking dirt by the end of the fight.

Only problem with death attack is that for the effect to work, the target can't be in combat. That is, you have to sneak up on them to get it to work. Guess that is meant to signify the D&D rule where you are meant to 'study' your target first.
