How devastating could a 20 Elminster/15 Asmodeus/5 Red Dragon Disciple REALLY be? Sounds like someone's just scared.

Gorri has helped me a lot. He has the right idea. It is because of him I am still here. ^-^<3

Might be worth asking how people came to join sundren.

For me it had half a dozen players on in my time zone in the gamespy login lobby thingo.

I brought 2 players with me.

Of course it cannot be overlooked that upon logging in, I found this new land to be good.

Being involved in a side trek or adventure with a dm make sNWN2 a different game and certainly gets me and my friends hooked in line and sinker.

    Thanks

Server population's slowly on the rise, we're averaging around 7-9 players during daytime GMT right now which is a definate improvement on only a few weeks ago. The more people play, the more interesting events we can run, and the better the word of mouth will be. It's a self-reciprocating cycle.

Lets try not to hypothesize. I already know a handful of people who would disagree and give another reason. Which is just as GD said, it's all opinion -- and irrelevant at this point.

I know not of these ECL +8 classes. Oh, you must be talking about Favored Souls.

    ZING!

Post on community boards, tell your friends, start new characters together, whatever it takes.

Opinions are valued. But this is a role play server. The only thing that hurts it is when people do not role play.

I take the completely immoral route and say we hack and sabotage other popular servers so folks have no where else to go... MuHuHAHAHAH.

JK, actually. If people could post RP posts about events, interesting RP happenings and such in the Rumors area I think it might help people get and stay interested.

Likewise, if at all possible... if you're going to post something in your faction RP forum but it is not really a particularly sensitive topic, perhaps you might want to throw that out in public view as well.

I am only a Sundrenian since January, but yes I have seen a lot of great players start not showing up. I think many are waiting on the coming changes... I think many have hit lvl 20 and don't really know what to do next. *shrugs* I also think some are just on hiatus for various reasons and I'm starting to see some of them come back.

It's a great server, I also hear that these mass exoduses (exodusi? exodi?) come and go and I am choosing to play through this one.

    Cheers,
    G

Definitely not something I'd want people to do, it breeds bad feeling and bad reputations.
Agreed. Fine to promote on open, community-based forums and chats. But openly snaking people from another server using their own forums or server chats is usually frowned upon.

I'd have to agree with Doubt, mostly. It's somewhat unprofessional to preach the praises of another server when playing here. I wouldn't want anyone do it to us, and I wouldn't lobby anywhere else.

I'm not very in touch with the NWN 2 community, but it couldn't hurt to create/bump Sundren threads on community forums that discuss RP PWs.
